I am a licensed professional counselor, based in the Philadelphia region, and earned my Master’s of Education in Counseling from Pennsylvania State University. I have over 10 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults in a variety of settings including universities, community based settings, and both individual and group therapy practices. I have an eclectic approach, which utilizes Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a person-centered therapy. I understand therapy is different for each individual and utilize my skills in meeting the client "where they are" to foster a safe and comfortable environment. I value building a strong therapeutic relationship and incorporate a strength-based approach to help individuals explore beyond presenting problems to gain an awareness and understanding of self.
Aside from therapy, I enjoy running, reading, traveling, Philadelphia sports (Go Birds!) and spending time with my golden retriever, Duke!
